We successfully crafted a well-thought-out layout featuring enfilade elements, capitalizing on the blank canvas provided by the unfinished 150 m² apartment in a Moscow new building. The kitchen-dining room, hall, and living room align seamlessly on a central axis. Establishing rapport with the client was effortless, as we shared a mutual understanding that functionality should complement, not compromise, design. Incorporating classic elements like moldings and cornices added a touch of elegance to the modern aesthetic.
High-gloss kitchen fronts look great against brass panels
We incorporated an array of metal accents, from lamp frames to table bases and lacquered brass panels, lending a distinctive touch to the design. The brass panels, in particular, served as an ideal backdrop for the sleek white fronts of the kitchen, resulting in a truly unique aesthetic.
Zoning the space received meticulous attention, and we executed our vision using portals strategically placed throughout the apartment. One such portal connects the dining room and kitchen, while another, fashioned as a library, graces the living room. A corridor cleverly separates the bedroom from the front portion of the apartment.
The interior boasts a palette of soothing pastel hues, predominantly encompassing a refined spectrum of gray-beige tones, pleasing to the eye. Given the contrasting tastes of the owners, compromises were a constant necessity, leading to engaging discussions. Yet, through collaborative efforts, we achieved a harmonious balance that satisfied both parties.
