With an aristocratic, austere, and opulent ethos guiding our vision, we crafted the interior of this 180 m² apartment in Moscow. The owner, a professional musician of remarkably refined taste, inspired bespoke furniture and decor meticulously crafted to INTRO by Chak studio’s designs. Our aim was to seamlessly blend contemporary elements, materials, and design concepts with the inherent nobility of classical aesthetics.

Our primary challenge lay in the redevelopment process. We successfully amalgamated two apartments, orchestrating the arrangement of eight rooms and a utility area. Crucially, we carved out a dedicated study space complete with a piano, where my grandson is honing his musical talents.

Our aim was to imbue the interior with austerity, while ensuring it remained understated and inviting. Thus, our design ethos drew inspiration from classical principles of spatial organization, meticulously adhering to the axes of symmetry and proportionality among the rooms.

We employed neutral hues with subtle pops of color and intricate prints in textiles, finishes, and textures. Floral and fauna motifs are juxtaposed with crisp graphic patterns. Additionally, the interiors of nearly every room boast sculptures by renowned artists from across the globe, alongside cherished antiques.
